Quality Without Compromise

"Quality Without Compromise"
is the motto of Cedar Valley
Middle School in Round Rock.

Unfortunately, this principle of behavior does not appear to apply to the Cedar Valley M. S. flagpole. This flag was discovered by our Central Texas operative on February 2, 2007 and had been flying upside down all day without notice.

At least the good folks at Cedar Valley chose Groundhog's day to commit their offense and didn't wait a month later for Texas Independence Day!

Thank you for noticing our mistake. We at CeVMS value input from all of our stakeholders and we will certainly try harder in the future to "Get it right" when we display our flag(s). Unfortunately our flags were stolen and we will have to wait a couple of days before we can proudly fly our flags. Ironically the flags came up missing the same day this picture was taken, hmmm. Anyway, we will be sure to train our 11 and 12 year old students better so they will not make such a dreadful mistake again. To the SPPDFT: We would love to have you visit CeVMS, as you seem very knowledgable about flags. I am almost certain our students would benefit more from your presence than your blog and the picture/letter you sent us in the mail. Thanks again for "taking the time" to help us with this matter.

Dude, the kids put up the flags up at seven am. You seriously expect them to get it right at seven freakin am?!? You're lucky they even come to school dressed.
